Where Faith Ignites Worship

OUR HISTORY

Faith Place Center of Worship Incorporated is of body of believers committed to impacting the world  by maintaining Christ-centered worship, building strong families, establishing kingdom connections, training partners for discipleship, and commissioning ambassadors to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations.

On September 6, 2012 Apostles Douglas and Cynthia Kornegay were faced with a challenge to hold on to what was familiar or trust God and launch out into the deep.  Being the God-fearing and Spirit-led individuals they are, the choice was inevitable.  It was imperative that they launch into the deep.  After much prayer and consecration, God instructed them to walk by faith and birth a new ministry.  Because it is a faith walk, they were sensitive to everything around them.  They were hearing God in and from unusual situations.  Their youngest son  spoke a name into the atmosphere which shaped the very foundation of this ministry.  He said we should be called "Faith Place Center of. Worship".
This bore witness with the Apostles'' spirit.  Yes, they were in a place of faith and the center of it was worship.  Out of worship many things would transpire.  We were officially named and united as a body of believers on September 24,'2012.

We began meeting at the house for "word study", with only 18 dedicated founding partners.  We are called "faith partners" because we all have a vested interest in the ministry.  Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the direction of the Apostles the future endeavors are 
in continuous prayer.
